A 26-year-old student of Chittagong University has lost both his legs under the wheels of a shuttle train at Sholoshahar Railway Station. 

Md Rabiul Alam, of the Sociology Department of Chittagong University, fell under a train while trying to board it, in a hurry, around 8:15am on Wednesday.

Sholoshahar Railway Station Master Shahabuddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.

He said: “Rabiul is being treated at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.”
