During our work with the injured students and citizens of the July uprising, we recognized the pivotal role played by the media in guiding society during such critical moments. This event is our humble tribute to their extraordinary contributions. I feel deeply honored to stand alongside these brave journalists." The program was presided over by Mohammad Shahidul Islam, President of the Dhaka Journalists Union, and included speeches from distinguished guests such as Ahmed Faiz, Senior Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh; Abu Saleh Aknan, President of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity; Mainul Hasan Sohel, General Secretary of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity; and Rafique Mohammad from Daily Inqilab, among other luminaries. This memorable event not only celebrated the courage of journalists but also underscored the indispensable role of media in building a brighter and more resilient Bangladesh. It is worth noting that MASTUL Foundation runs multiple community service projects, including schools, madrassas, orphanages, and elderly care homes, providing care and shelter for hundreds of orphans and elderly individuals. Additionally, MASTER's project schools in several districts support over a thousand underprivileged yet talented students with educational materials, health services, nutritious food, and protection of child rights. |
